Good location, very close to metro station and bus stops. Very quiet although very close to main streets. Breakfast was tasty but not very variable (every day the same and not enough salty dishes but there was a big variety of sweet products).Rooms decoration excellent, it reminded me of a palace....
Although the room was beautifully decorated, our room was extremely small. It was not very comfortable for 2 persons. But for those who need it just for sleep for a few nights it is ok Secondly the price of the room was very high in comparison to other european hotels, which are more cheaper and offer more commodities. But i think that it is a general problem of all the hotels in Rome center which are just over-valuated.
staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were nicely decorated, but on the small side. Breakfast was plentiful, with choice of pastries, cereal, toast, bacon and egg, boiled eggs, cold meats, cheese, fruit etc etc
Although the hotel was only two metro stops from the main station, it was rather out of the way for sightseeing and there were no restaurants you could easily walk to nearby. When you return to the hotel after a day sightseeing, its a chore going back out as you have to take the metro back to the main station and then change to another metro line to get anywhere near a decent restaurant
The Hotel was very well priced. It was very close to the Metro and city centre but was very quiet which was great as we had a 9 year old with us. the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a friendly quiet stay. Breakfast was excellent as is the roof terrace to sit and eat it.
The first day we arrived instead of giving us a triple room , they gave a double room with an extra bed which was broken at the same price. When we notified the reception they told us that they cannot do anything as they do not have anybody to fix it at that time !!! Therefore we had a discussion which of couires was not pleasant at the very 1st day. Then they fixed the bed !!There was no tea or cofee maker which is standard in 4 star hotels. The fridge was not working. The hotel staff were quite unflexible and strict .It was near to metro station but far from the city centre .I did not know the poor quality of public transport in Rome otherwise , I would have not booked this hotel.
The room was nice, simple, and clean. The bed was comfortable.
The sauna and Turkish bath cost extra. These amenities had driven my decision to stay here, so learning that they were not included was a letdown.
The whole atmosphäre in this hotel is positive and relaxed. Very friendly staff, to each of you our best thanks. Rooms are beautiful in antique style with warm colours. We were very lucky to have reserved bigger Deluxe Superior rooms and received beautiful rooms with small romantic balconies. Breakfast was very good including even fresh fruits, fresh strawberries etc. Location of the hotel is in a good safety surrounding. Connections: Metro b to Termini, bus 61 to Via Corso, tram 19 to Vaticano, tram 3 or metro b to Colosseo, tram 19 or tram 3 to Villa Borghese (short walk through the Borghese park), several buses to Piazza del Popolo. We recommend this hotel to quests who prefer quiet air conditioned (manually by you) rooms after a busy and hot day in the center of Rome.
Good location, right next to a metro station. Very nice and helpful staff, excellent breakfast on the roof terrace.
My room was very small, thus quite uncomfortable.
Location (Near metro station), Silent, Confortable
Elevator is small and slow
Good location near the metro (B line), quiet area, good breakfast, confortable hotel, a small supermarket on the other side of the street.
The room was too small. The hotel offered me a "discount" price of 50 Euro to drive me to the airport while the normal price is around 35 Euro.
The breakfast was fabulous! The real coffee was a bonus - but you had to ask for it!
Some of the staff were a little rude and the lift did not always work. The rooms were very smelly and our request for a twin room was not honoured until half way through our stay.
Really lovely hotel, nice spacious rooms and a great buffet breakfast. The waitress would make your own special coffee, good scrambled eggs and an excellent selection of fruit and cakes.
Its a bit too far from the centre of Rome but its very near the Meto, just across the road.
Hotel staff, quietness, the area
Breakfast is very delicious, high quality products, top terrace with nice view, nice and generous staff. We had (they claim) the best room- "smart" or "deluxe" type Nr.201 - big, decorated nicely, has huge bed and sofa, huge terrace. Very good location by metro at Policlinico; calm district and hotel far from road- any side is silent.
(1) As opposed to most reviews, the hotel does trasmit noise from the floor above - parquet floor everywhere. We could hear people walking above, at all times (2 am, 8 am...). It depends what is located above the room. (2) Heating on (air-conditioning otherwise) carried in horrible drainage smell all the time. Could not be aired away. Staff said they would check, I hope they did after we left..
The jet bath tub, very relaxing after walking around rome.
There was no beauticians etc available at the hotel.
Near to the underground station, good breakfast with a great view
Worst, U-formed beds ever (even in Deluxe Superior Suite), which were not even matrimonial, but twin beds (can hardly be called romantic when you are in such a romantic city) + Sauna not working properly (87° after an hour) + Minibar prices ridiculously high (4 euro for a 20 cl coke)
