Our family (myself and 2 children 19 and 21) stayed here this week on our tour of Europe. We reserved a triple and asked for 3 beds. The room was large, with high ceilings, beautiful tapestry bedspreads and curtains. The king bed split into 2 twinds and the sofa pulled out into a double (which was actually comfortable) The bathroom was marble with a bidet and toliet. The staff was wonderful and there was internet in the lobby which thrilled the kids. The breakfast- on the covered protected roof was continental with differant types of pastries and fruit. I travel throughout the US for work and this hotel room was one of the prettiest I have stayed in. We will definitely return to this hotel when we return to Rome.
The room was very comfortable.. very well furnished..with warm lighting.. It is a cosy small hotel. Away from the city yet easily accesible as very close to the metro. Breakfast served on the terrace and is allright... With some hot food like eggs and bacon as well.. The only hotel during out trip to serve this.
One of the staff was not very approachable. Not many restaurants around..
Hotel is very close to the Metro station, it's clean and the hotel staff is friendly. Another great thing is the nearby restaurant where you can have a fantastic dinner after a long daya of sightseeing.
Some rooms are very small
We were on our Honeymoon and the stay at the hotel was extremely good. the service was excellent and they sourced an ironing board for our stay throughout in a very quick manner. Hotel is 50 yards from the metro which is Line B (Blue line) and only 2 stops from the main bus/train station. 4 stops away from the Coliseum and only 6-8 stops from the Vatican. Hotel very near to all sights. Buy the all inclusive ticket from the metro station, very reasonable in price for 3 days or longer. This will be for the metro (shuts around 23:30)and buses which go on through the night which was very helpful. Nightlife good as well, food and drink dear though and do not buy ice cream or drinks outside the main sights, extremely expensive and do not get photos with the gladiator's again very expensive. However all said, Rome is beautiful, sun and sights to dream upon. Hotel was very good and the staff were extremely friendly, bed was very comfortable. Enjoyable honeymoon!!!!
The hotel was very nice villa with marble and wood interior. Everything was in good condition even if the room was on a smaller side. Overall the interior was very nice and the hotel had a luxury feel to it. The rooms were surprisingly quiet, even it there were two larger streets close by. The hotel was close to several bus connection, metro station and two tram lines. There a grocery store on the other side of the street.
The location was alright, but you had to use public transportation to get around. Breakfast was said to be luxurious, but the selection was quite limited and in the heat of July it was almost impossible to sit at the rooftop where they served the breakfast. The owner of the hotel was in the lobby almost every day, but treated at least us like air. That made us feel less welcomed to the hotel and would actually be the reason for not choosing this hotel again.
Luxury room and bathroom with bathtub, good breakfast, helpful staff. Good air conditioning - applies to the small, standard room type. Very close to metro and bus stations, nice area with a supermarket, a pharmacy and a restaurant across the street. For cat lovers - within walking distance to the cat colony in Cimitero del Verano
Not much storage space in the wardrobe, so if you have more luggage or do a lot of shopping you'll have to leave it in the room (fortunately, there's enough spare space). Air conditioning started on its own during the night. Didn't really bother us. Some noise from the street, if you leave the window open.
Federica at the front desk was wonderful. She was fast at corresponding via email prior to our visit. When we arrived, she was very helpful with city bus information and a local place to eat. We would stay here again. This place is a hidden gem!
Nice hotel, very nice staff- I would recommend here giovanna , who sent us to a very nice restaurant , therefore we even returned there the day after. excellent location next to the tube station. For sure when I return to Rome I will stay there again.
The room was spotless. The beds were comfortable and sheets were fresh and clean. The towels were changed every day. The breakfast buffet was fantastic and was included in the price. The staff were mostly helpful in telling us basic things about how to get to various locations in Rome. The view from the breakfast area was wonderful. It was winter (Feb) and very cold outside; the heat in the room worked without any problem--we were comfortable at all times. Also the breakfast area was heated very adequately. The staff at breakfast were very accomodating. The hotel very near the subway station and bus stops (a block for latter; 3 blocks for former). Extremely convenient. Main train/bus terminal was only 2 stations away. Safe area.
I did not like the fact that we were surprised by a 42 euro charge on the last day. We were under the impression from Booked.net that all fees were included in the price.
The staff was great and we loved staying in the hotel. We got a room on the top floor with a patio overlooking rome. They recomended a perfect restaurant in the neighbourhood with typical roman food.
The hotel was faultless, and I particularly enjoyed the Spa Bath in the bedroom :-)
Our room was plush and luxurious. The tall doors and window that opened to the large balcony was the frosting on the cake. The young woman who checked us in spoke very good english and was extremely helpful.
The Villa Morgagni was located a bit farther away from the city center than I had hoped. It was definitely not walking distance to sites in Rome.
Very nice hotel and staff, breakfast was very varied and good, with all you need to start your day (ham, cheese, eggs, bacon, salami, fruits, honey, milk, cereals and many, many delicious pastries). The hotel is very clean, our room (for three people) was very large and confortable, the bed and furniture high class. The hotel is very near to the metro station Policlinico (1 minute), at two stations to Termini and four stations to Coloseum. Very good transport network. I am recomending this hotel for a holiday in Rome, you should feel excellent.
There is public transportation close to this hotel. We can go most famous sightseeing place in Roma using this.
There is no restlant in this hotel and near here.
Good service at reception. They recommended a good restaurant nearby.
The choice of breakfast was not as good as I had expected. Also it was very hot on the terrace and wondered about whether the food was ok in this temperature. The room was very small.
